Returns

Incorrect Items:

14 days from receipt of order, strictly only for products in unused, original condition, with labels & packaging (card and clip) intact.  Please contact us at sales@grateseal.com.au to arrange the return process.

Return postage is at purchaser’s expense.

For health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept products which have been placed (either fully or partially) into drainage outlets, even if size is determined to be incorrect.

Products which have been customised/trimmed cannot be returned. It is therefore crucial to obtain accurate measurements of floor or shower waste outlet pipes (where the Grate Seal will be installed) to ensure the correct size is purchased.

To avoid damage and to extend the life of the Grate Seal product, no harsh or abrasive chemicals (e.g. bleach, Drano, etc) should be used while the Grate Seal is in situ.  Please remove the Grate Seal product prior to their use.

Damaged Items:

Should you received your item in damaged/faulty condition, please contact us at sales@grateseal.com.au

Description

The Grate Seal® GSBT is the most cost effective commercial grade bucket trap on the market and has the simplest installation of its kind.

Grate Seal® Bucket Trap is a WaterMark approved product. It is the most cost effective bucket trap on the market and has the simplest installation of its kind;

  • Simply remove the floor waste cover;
  • Insert the flexible housing through the existing floor waste outlet;
  • Lower the basket into the housing and replace the grate.

Grate Seal® Bucket Trap is located below the grate in the drainage riser pipe, this allows any style drainage outlet to be utilised, including trench grating. When the housing is installed it is flexed against the internal wall of the waste pipe which creates both a seal and a frictional fit. This allows removal for maintenance. Stainless Steel varieties don’t allow the removal of the housing for maintenance. This results in the permanent damage of the secondary basket.

The Grate Seal® Bucket Trap does not prevent the operation of a fire collar, unlike stainless steel varieties it is constructed of an elastomeric & polymer material which a fire collar can crush and provide the necessary fire barrier. The finished floor surface, tile, resin, vinyl or any other material is not disturbed due to the Grate Seal® Bucket Trap being a separate item from the outlet, being made from a flexible material and installed in the drainage riser pipe.
